Ord. Terebinthaceee. A tree cultivated over Asia, and in South America. Mangos, when ripe, are juicy, of a good flavour, and so fragrant as to perfume the air to a considerable distance. They are eaten, either raw or preserved with sugar. From the expressed juice a wine is prepared; and the remainder of the kernel can be reduced to an excellent flour for bread.
