The name of the tree which affords the Liquid amber and Storax liquida, Styrax liquida or Liquid storax. Liquid amber is a resinous juice of a yellow colour, inclining to red; at first of about the consistence of turpentine; by age, hardening into a solid, brittle mass. It is not used medicinally.
