An American poet; born at Peekskill, N. Y., May 6, 1860. Educated at Columbia College and Harvard University, he became an instructor in the Columbia School of Architecture. He has published: "Madrigals and Catches"; "Lyrics for a Lute"; and, with John Kendrick Bangs, "New Waggings of Old Tales"; "Little Folk Lyrics"; "Lyrics of Joy". His poems are a frequented ture of the magazines.
