This is the chief residence of invalids in Cornwall, England, during the winter. It is situated on Mount’s Bay, about ten miles from the Land’s End. It is 5 1/2 warmer in winter than London, 2 colder in summer: scarcely 1 warmer in the spring, and only about 2 1/2 warmer in the autumn. It is a very favourable winter residence for the phthisical invalid.
