A German railway engineer, son of the celebrated music composer, Karl Maria von W.; born at Dresden, April 25, 1822; died at Berlin, April 18, 1881. Besides numerous technological works, he wrote: "Karl Maria von Weber: A Life Picture" (3 vols., 1864-66); "From the World of Work" (1868); "Works and Days" (1869); "Looking and Doing" (1878).
