These waters, situated in the duchy of Saxe-Mei ningen, are amongst the strongest acidulous chalybeates in Germany. They contain sulphate of soda, chloride of sodium, sulphate of lime, chloride of calcium, carbonate of lime, chloride of magnesium, and carbonate of iron.
