An Italian poet and litterateur (1770-1834). While confined as a political prisoner at Sebenico, he wrote and published a poem, "The Tomb of Sebenico", which made a stir throughout Italy. Of works on the history of literature, he wrote "The Age of Dante" (1827) and others. The Academy of Brescia crowned his work "On the Humanity of the Judge" (1817).
