[Ger.] A hard brimstone-coloured brick, made in Holland. Dutch pink is chalk or whiting dyed yellow, used for paper-staining. Dutch rush, a rough kind of rush used for scouring and polishing. Dutch gold, leaf, foil, mineral, or metal, is an alloy of eleven parts of copper and two of zinc, rolled or beaten into thin sheets.
