A German novelist; born (Ronschutz) at Rottenburg, Wurtemberg, Feb. 22, 1817; died July 12, 1877. She wrote many novels of home life and stories for the young, among which are: "In Daylight" (1861); "Augusta" (1865); "From Mountain and Valley" (1867); etc. "In the Child World" was published after her death.
