In Scots law, the willful cheating of creditors by an insolvent person; a bankruptcy in which the insolvent is accessory to the diminution, by alienation, abstraction, or concealment of the funds divisible among his creditors, with a fraudulent intent, and with the knowledge that the legal rights of the creditors are thereby infringed.
