[Fr.] One suffering from ennui (q.v.). Book of Enoch A book written probably in the century preceding the Christian era. It was lost after the time of Jerome, who mentions it ; but two Ethiopic copies were discovered by Bruce, the African explorer. A passage from this book is quoted in the Epistle of St. Jude.
