Family, Umbelliferae. Sex. Syst. Pentandria Digynia. A violent poison, often eaten by mistake for Wild Smallage, Apium Graveolens. It produces tremors, vertigo, burning at the stomach, and all the symptoms occasioned by the Narcotico-acrid class of poisons.
