An American journalist; born in Kent's Hill, Me., April 2, 1831. Under her pen-name of "Kate Hunnibee", she became widely known from a series of articles which appeared in Hearth and Home. She edited the Home Interest department in the New York Tribune (1869-70), and the Dining-Room Magazine (1876-77).
