An American writer of religious verse, sister of Ignatius; born in Philadelphia, Sept. 6, 1838. A few of her poetical publications are: "Domus Dei" (1874); "Hymns of the Sacred Heart" (1882); "Our Birthday Banquet", in prose and verse (1885); and "Signori Leaflets" (1887). Her writings have received the special apostolic benediction of Pope Leo XIII.
