Cribrosus,from cribrum, a sieve. (F.) Crible. Having holes like a sieve. Lame criblee, Cribriform plate, is the horizontal lamina of the ethmoid bone- so called because it is perforated like a sieve. Through the perforations, Paramina cribrosa, the olfactory nerves pass.
