The fruit of the Chaulmoogra, Gynocar'dia odora'ta. Order, Capparideae, of India. A bland fixed oil is obtained by expressing the dried seed, which is used by the natives in leprosy. The seed are given internally, in the dose of about in the day, and the eruption is rubbed with the oil.
