An American poet; born in Albany, N. Y., Feb. 20, 1825. He graduated from the University of the City of New York in 1843, and later practiced law in New York. He wrote: "Nothing to Wear" (1857), a satirical poem which attracted wide attention; "Two Millions", a satire (1858); and "Mrs. Limber's Raffle". Died Sept. 9, 1902.
