A chromolithograph of graduated blood tints showing the varying color of samples of blood containing from 10 to 100 per cent. of the normal content of hemoglobin; a piece of filter-paper is moistened with a drop of the blood to be examined and its color is then compared with those of the scale, the corresponding tint on the scale indicating the percentage of hemoglobin.
