Sursumvergence[Latin], temporary and forced separation of the two visual lines in a vertical plane, so that either the right eye or the left is the higher (Right and Left sursumvergence). Sursumvergens[Latin], tending upward; marked by an upward deviation, as Strabismus sursumvergens[Latin], equal and simultaneous elevation of both eyes.
