The conical tuberele, situate at the centre of the breast. Towards the central part of each breast the skin changes colour, and assumes a rosy tint in young females, or a reddish brown in those who have suckled several children. The cirlce is called the Areola or Aureola of the nipple. The nipple is capable of erection on being excited.
