A species obtained from wheat bread kept at the body temperature, and also found in auditory meatus. The mycelium is grayish white. According to Flugge, it is pathogenic. The spores, injected into the blood of rabbits, produce death, and various species have been found in peritonitis and multiple abscesses of the viscera in man.
