An American novelist and writer; born at Madison Court-House, Va., about 1845. In 1883 she married the Rev. Richard Putnam, of New York. Her works include: "Richmond during the War" (1867); "The Southern Amaranth" (1869); "Kenneth, My King" (1872); "Myra", a novel.
