A Hungarian poet; born at Nagy-Szalonta, March 24, 1844. Son of the preceding; member of the Academy since 1872; author of "Elfrida", a poetical tale (1868, prize); "The Battle of the Huns" (1874); "The Hero of Disenchantment", a humorous epic (1873), which won a prize and ranks among the best productions of Hungarian literature.
