An Italian miscellaneous writer; born at Padua, 1597; died 1654, at Citta Nuova in Istria, of which see he was bishop. He wrote: "Lives of Illustrious Men, with Portraits" (1630); "Petrarch Come to Life Again" (1635), a work of curious interest; "On Votive Offerings" (1629).
