An American story-writer; born at Ariel, Pa., in 1853, and resides at Honesdale, Pa. He is the author of "The Blind Brother, a Story of the Pennsylvania Coal Mines" (1887); "Burnham Breaker" (1887); "Riverpark Rebellion"; "Pickett's Gap" (1902).
