A commercial name for any monacid salt of rosanilin, especially a mixture of rosanilin hydrochlorid and pararosanilin hydrochlorid. It is used in solution in various liquids as a dye for microscopical sections, especially for staining bacteria. Therapeutically it has been employed in albuminuria.
