Is characterized by red, livid, or yellowish spots, slightly prominent, to which succeed indolent tumours, formed in the areolar texture. At a more advanced period the phalanges swell, and become ulcerated; the bones of the nose carious, the lips thickened, and emaciation gradually carries off the patient. It likewise belongs to lepra.
