Degorgement, from de, and gorge, 'the throat.' An opposite condition to that of Engorgement. The discharge or abstraction of a certain quantity of fluid, which had previously collected in a part; as Disgorgement of bile. It also means a vomit.

Expulsion, especially by vomiting.

The subsidence of an engorgement or the process of causing it to subside.
