D. labii superioris aloeque nasi seu Labii superioris proprius, Incisivus medius, Myrtiformis, Coustrictores olarum nasi ac depressores labii superioris, Maxilloalveoli-nasal- part of the labialis, (Ch.,) (F.) Abaisseur de Iaile du nez. It arises from the superior maxillary bone immediately above the junction of the gums with the two incisor and canine teeth; and passes upwards to be inserted into the upper lip and root of the ala nasi, which it pulls downwards.
