These waters are found near Lucca, in Italy. They received their name from an erroneous notion, that they are particularly adapted fro curing diseases of the os frontis. Their temperature is 95 Fahrenheit. They contain free carbonic acid, sulphates of lime and magnesia chlorides of sodium and magnesium, &c., and some iron.
