It is a mixture of several marine plants and zoophytes, as the fucus, ceramium, ulva, coralline, confervae, &c., and has gained great reputation for destroying all kinds of intestinal worms, when given in strong decoction. The Geneva Pharmacopoeia directs an officinal syrup- the Sirop de Coralline.
