The Cabbage, (F.) Chou potager. Order, Cruciferae. Sex. Syst. Tetradynamia Siliquosa. Cato wrote a book on its virtues. It is a vegetable by no means easy of digestion when boiled; when raw, it appears to be more digestible. When forming a solid globular mass, like a head, it is the B. Capita'ta, (F.) Chou-Cabus, Chou Pomme.
