Bonnes is a village six leagues from Pau, in the department Basses Pyrenees, France. Here are several thermal springs. They were celebrated as early as the time of Francis I., under the name Eaux d'Arquebusade. They contain chlorides of sodium and magnesium, sulphates of magnesia and lime, sulphur, and silica. The temperature is from 78 to 98 Fahrenheit.
