An American clergyman and author; born in Hanover, N. J., May 1, 1795; died in Smithfield, Pa., in 1864. He wrote many contributions to the religious press. His most popular work, "The Great Supper", was translated into German, and had an immense sale. He also published "Baptism", "Faith and Works", and "Confession of Faith".
