Made by bruising well two pounds of bitter almonds; adding, whilst triturating, ten pounds of spring water, and four pounds of alcohol; letting the mixture rest in a well-closed vessel, and then distilling two pounds. Used instead of the Aqua Laurocerasi, and the Hydrocyanic acid. It must be given with great caution.
