Yacca \Yac"ca\ (y[a^]k"k[.a]), n. (Bot.)
A West Indian name for two large timber trees (Podocarpus
coriaceus, and P. Purdicanus) of the Yew family. The wood,
which is much used, is pale brownish with darker streaks.
