Urchin \Ur"chin\, n. [OE. urchon, irchon, a hedgehog, OF. ire[,c]on, eri[,c]on, heri?on, herichon, F. h['e]risson, a derivative fr. L. ericius, from er a hedgehog, for her; akin to Gr. ?. Cf. Herisson.]
