U. acneiforme, a disease marked by erythema and cornification of the skin in the neighborhood of the hair follicles. U. centrifugum, lupus erythematosus. U. ophryogenes, a very chronic disease, probably parasitic, in which the hair-follicles are filled with a horny epithelial plug and are surrounded by erythematous skin. U. sycosiforme, a rare, very chronic form of folliculitis barbae, often producing destruction of the skin.
