Tinkling \Tin"kling\, n.

1. A tinkle, or succession of tinkles.

Drowsy tinklings lull the distant folds. --Gray.

2. (Zo["o]l.) A grackle (Quiscalus crassirostris) native of Jamaica. It often associates with domestic cattle, and rids them of insects.
