A species of RESPIROVIRUS, subfamily PARAMYXOVIRINAE, most often seen in conjunction with a secondary infection of PASTEURELLA HAEMOLYTICA resulting in pneumonic pasturellosis (PASTEURELLOSIS, PNEUMONIC).
