Bitter springs, in the neighbourhood of those of Pullna and Sedlitz, in Bohemia, which contain chiefly sulphate, nitrate, muriate, and carbonate of magnesia, sulphates of potassa, soda, and lime; carbonate of lime, iron and manganese. The water is an excellent cathartic, and is well known in Europe.
