1. The act of rendering; especially, the act of surrender, as
of fugitives from justice, at the claim of a foreign
government; also, surrender in war.
The rest of these brave men that suffered in cold
blood after articles of rendition. --Evelyn.
2. Translation; rendering; version.
This rendition of the word seems also most naturally
to agree with the genuine meaning of some other
words in the same verse. --South.
