A Roman historian, probably of the first century A. D., of whose life nothing is known with certainty. He is the author of "De Rebus Gestis Alexandri Magni" (Deeds of Alexander the Great), in ten books, the first two of which are lost. It is pleasing in style, but not very accurate.
