Are those resulting from the junction of the metatarsal bones with each other. They are strengthened, behind, by dorsal and plantar ligaments; and before, by a transverse metatarsal ligaments; and before, by a transverse metatarsal ligament, which is plantar, and has the greatest analogy to the inferior transverse metacarpal ligament.
