A replaceable DLL which the server callswhenever there is an HTTP request. When the filter is firstloaded, it communicates to the server what sort ofnotifications will be accepted. After that, whenever aselected event occurs, the filter is called to process theevent.Example applications of ISAPI filters include customauthentication schemes, compression, encryption,logging, traffic analysis or other request analyses.
