A Dalmatian poet; born at Ragusa, 1606; died 1657. Among his works are: "The Christiad; or, Life of Jesus Christ", in 24 cantos (1670); some dramas, as "Atalanta", "Cedipus", "The Rape of Helen"; and the poem "Glorious History of the Slav Kings of Dalmatia".
