[Latin] Of, pertaining to, or supplying the G. organs; as the G. nerves. G. corpuscles, see Bulbs of Krause. G. reflex, contraction of the abdominal muscles produced by squeezing the testicle. G. tubercle, an eminence forming in the sixth week of fetal life in front of the cloaca; it soon is surrounded by a double fold of skin (G. folds), and at the end of the second month develops a groove (G. furrow) on its lower part. The tubercle becomes the penis or clitoris; the folds become the labia majora or scrotum; and the furrow becomes the opening of the vagina, bounded by the labia minora, or, in the make becomes the spongy portion of the urethra.
