A Dominican lawyer and poet; born in Santo Domingo city, Dominican Republic, about 1810. Has been many times a member of the Dominican Congress. He is the author of "Las Vergenes de Galindo", a historical tale in verse; "El Mendigo", a drama; "Ozama", a drama; and many lyrical poems.
