called Morel. A French poet; born about 1330 at Vertus, Dept. Marne; died after 1415. He composed a multitude of short poems of a political or moral nature. The "Mirror of Marriage" comprises 13,000 lines. He wrote an "Art of Poetizing", the earliest mediaeval work of its kind.
