Pertaining to Aeolus. Eolian harp or lyre, a simple stringed instrument that produces sounds of a lulling nature when acted upon by rising and falling currents of air. Eolian attachment, a contrivance attached to a pianoforte, by which a stream of air can be thrown on the strings, and the volume of sound greatly increased.
